How WafidFill collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information
Privacy Summary: WafidFill is a Chrome browser extension and related online service that helps users process passport information, extract OCR/MRZ data, autofill supported visa and medical-appointment forms, continue supported booking workflows, and optionally use account, AI support, Telegram, WhatsApp, payment, referral, and notification features. WafidFill processes personal and sensitive information only as necessary to provide the features the user chooses to use, operate the service, prevent abuse, and maintain security and reliability.
Important: WafidFill does not sell or rent personal information, passport information, form data, browsing activity, communications, or other user data.
WafidFill does not use passport data, form data, personal communications, or sensitive extension data for personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising.
Users should only upload, process, or submit passport information when they have permission or authority to use that information.
This Privacy Policy explains how WafidFill handles information when you use the WafidFill Chrome extension, WafidFill website, account features, passport processing, AI support, messaging integrations, payment features, referral features, and related services.
WafidFill is an autofill and productivity tool for supported visa, medical appointment, booking, and application websites. Its core purpose is to help users extract passport information and use that information in supported user-requested workflows.
WafidFill may process personal and sensitive information including passport images, extracted passport information, supported form data, supported website content, account information, contact information, communications, transaction information, messaging recipient information, and technical identifiers.
When you upload or process a passport, WafidFill may process the passport image and extracted information such as your name, passport number, date of birth, nationality, sex or gender, passport issue and expiry dates, Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) information, national or personal identifiers where present, and other fields required by a supported form.
WafidFill uses this information to provide passport OCR/MRZ extraction, autofill supported forms, continue supported workflows requested by the user, detect supported booking results or errors, and provide related user-requested notifications.
Depending on the feature you use, WafidFill may transmit only the information necessary for that feature to WafidFill backend services or to the service providers specifically identified in Section 8 of this Policy.
The information processed by WafidFill depends on the features you choose to use.

If you upload or provide a passport image, WafidFill may process that image to extract information required for the requested autofill or booking feature.
Depending on the feature and configuration, processing may occur in the browser, on WafidFill backend infrastructure, or through the specifically identified AI/service providers described in this Policy.
WafidFill does not sell passport information and does not use passport information to create advertising profiles or for unrelated advertising.

WafidFill does not use passport information, supported form data, or personal communications for personalized advertising.
Some settings, preferences, selected contacts, dates, checkbox states, temporary information, and application/workflow data may be stored using Chrome extension storage on the user's device.
Users may remove locally stored information by clearing extension data or uninstalling WafidFill, subject to Chrome's storage behavior.
Account information, points, transaction records, extension identifiers, service status, plan information, referrals, selected integration configuration, delivery logs, and other information required to operate account features may be stored on WafidFill backend infrastructure.
WafidFill retains backend information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain account and transaction records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, provide support, and protect the service.
Passport images may be processed to extract information. WafidFill does not intentionally retain passport images longer than necessary to complete the requested processing and related technical handling.
Where a user-requested feature sends an image to a named third-party processing service, the image is processed according to that provider's applicable service terms and retention practices.
Extracted passport information or supported form information may be held temporarily in the browser or backend when needed to complete the active workflow, provide restore/refill/status functionality selected by the user, diagnose a user-requested support issue, or maintain security and reliability.
Telegram and WhatsApp configuration, saved client contacts, message identifiers, and delivery-status records may be retained as needed to provide the active integration, prevent duplicate delivery, diagnose failures, provide support, and maintain security.
When information is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected, WafidFill seeks to delete or anonymize it, subject to legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, transaction, and operational requirements.
WafidFill does not sell or rent personal information.
WafidFill may transmit information to the following parties only when necessary to provide a feature requested by the user or for another permitted purpose described in this Policy.
WafidFill uses Convex as backend and database infrastructure. Depending on the features used, Convex may process account records, extension identifiers, points and plan information, transaction metadata, configuration, referral data, support data, client-contact information, notification state, delivery logs, and other operational data required to run WafidFill.
When passport/image extraction or AI support requires cloud AI processing, WafidFill may send the user-provided image, extracted text, prompt, support question, context, or related requested data to Google's Gemini services solely to perform the requested OCR, image-analysis, or AI-support feature.
If a user chooses Google sign-in, Google authentication services process the authorization flow. WafidFill may receive account information permitted by the user, such as email address, name, and Google account identifier, for authentication and account management.
When WhatsApp delivery or WhatsApp support is enabled, WafidFill uses YCloud and the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta to process recipient phone numbers, message content, generated Wafid links or supported error messages, template parameters where applicable, message identifiers, and delivery/read/failure status necessary to provide the selected messaging feature.
When Telegram notifications or Telegram support are enabled, WafidFill uses the Telegram Bot API to process Telegram user/chat identifiers and the notification or support content required to provide that feature.
When a user purchases WafidFill points or plans through Cryptomus, Cryptomus processes the payment. WafidFill may receive and store payment, invoice, order, or transaction identifiers, amount, currency, payment status, and related metadata required to credit the account, activate plans, reconcile the purchase, prevent fraud, and provide support.
When a user activates autofill or a supported workflow, WafidFill enters the selected application/form information into the destination website at the user's direction. Supported services may include Wafid, Bahrain eVisa, Saudi Arabia visa application services, and other supported application or appointment websites.
Those destination websites operate independently and process submitted information under their own privacy policies and terms.
WafidFill may use infrastructure and security providers required to operate its systems, maintain availability, detect abuse, and protect the service. WafidFill may also disclose information when required by applicable law, valid legal process, court order, or valid governmental request, or when necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, spam, malware, security threats, or abuse.
WafidFill interacts with supported third-party websites only when the user chooses to use the extension on those websites and only to the extent required for a user-facing feature.
The extension may read supported page content, form fields, generated links, and supported status/error text when necessary to identify a supported workflow, autofill fields, continue the user's requested process, detect results, or provide notifications.
WafidFill does not collect browsing activity for advertising, sale, or unrelated profiling.
Supported websites operate independently from WafidFill. WafidFill does not control how a destination website stores, processes, or retains information after the user submits it.
WafidFill may use Google services for optional authentication, AI processing, website analytics, and advertising measurement as described in this Policy.
If you choose Google sign-in, WafidFill may receive basic Google account information required to identify your account, such as your email address, name, and Google account identifier.
WafidFill does not request access to Google services beyond the permissions displayed during authentication.
Google handles information according to Google's own applicable privacy policies and service terms.
Telegram and WhatsApp features are optional. When enabled, WafidFill may process the messaging identifiers, recipient phone numbers, saved client-contact information, supported generated links, supported error/status messages, and delivery status necessary to provide notifications or support.
Multiple Telegram user IDs may be configured for Telegram notifications. Telegram recipients and selected WhatsApp client contacts are treated as separate recipient systems.
If a WafidFill user saves a client WhatsApp number and selects that client for direct delivery, WafidFill may send the supported user-requested notification to that selected client's WhatsApp number through YCloud and the WhatsApp Business Platform.
WafidFill may process purchase and transaction metadata required for points, plans, balances, and payment status. This may include amount, currency, order/invoice identifiers, payment status, points, plan type, and related records.
When Cryptomus is used, payment processing is performed by Cryptomus. WafidFill receives only the information necessary to identify the transaction, determine payment status, credit points or activate a plan, prevent fraud, and provide payment support.
WafidFill does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers or card security codes as part of its normal points/plan payment flow.
The public WafidFill website may use Google Analytics or similar analytics technologies to understand website traffic, diagnose website problems, and improve website performance.
The public website may also use Google advertising technologies, including Google Ads conversion measurement, to measure advertising performance.
These website analytics and advertising technologies are separate from the extension's passport-processing functionality. WafidFill does not send passport images, extracted passport data, supported form data, personal communications, or sensitive extension data to advertising services for personalized advertising.
WafidFill's use of information received from Chrome extension users complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
WafidFill uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure. Users should also protect their devices, browser accounts, and authentication credentials.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information.
Some information may need to be retained when required for legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or transaction-record purposes.
You may request deletion of your WafidFill account and associated personal information by contacting us.
When submitting a deletion request, use the email address associated with your WafidFill account or provide enough information for us to identify the relevant account.
We will process valid deletion requests within a reasonable period, subject to applicable legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and operational requirements.
Information stored locally in the browser may also be removed by clearing the extension's storage or uninstalling WafidFill.
WafidFill is intended for users who are legally permitted to use the supported visa, appointment, booking, or application services in their jurisdiction.
WafidFill is not designed for children to independently submit sensitive identity documents. Users processing another person's passport must have appropriate permission or authority to do so.
WafidFill and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
Where required by applicable law, WafidFill takes reasonable steps to protect personal information during international processing.
WafidFill may update this Privacy Policy when features, service providers, legal requirements, technology, or data practices change.
The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page shows when the policy was most recently changed.
For material changes to data practices, WafidFill may provide additional notice through the website, extension, account, or another appropriate communication channel and obtain additional consent where required.
